Eric Folks
Actor/Producer/Writer NYC

Eric is a proud Hoosier, born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He attended Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio where he earned his BFA in acting. Not long after moving to New York in the fall of 2010, Eric joined the Bats, the resident acting company at the Flea Theater in TriBeCa. At the Flea he worked on and appeared in a cadre of new works, including premieres by Thomas Bradshaw, Nick Jones, and Jennifer Haley. Eric has performed at regional theaters across the country in NYC including Ensemble Studio Theater, Rattlestick, and Theater For A New Audience.
In 2016, Eric and a group of collaborators began developing Nannies, a new web series abut New York babysitters. In addition to being a co-producer and co-creator, Eric plays Dale, a nanny whose relaxed nature and heart of gold make up for a lack of any real babysitting skills. After filming a pilot, raising production funds and filming six original episodes Season One was just released on Vimeo over the summer.
